As the lucks and fates would have it, I enjoyed myself at a non-profit gala on Saturday with dear friends, and am now paying the COVID price for said merriment.

I felt a slight throat tickle Monday morning, fastidiously tested Monday and Tuesday (negative), and then woke to a deeply positive red line that basically yelled “you most definitely have covid”…
